Job Title: Head of Legal One of the largest conglomerates
Job Details: Our client is a leading Conglomerate and they are currently searching for a Head legal. The successful candidate will advise on corporate, commercial, civil, and labor law matters affecting the Group and its operations
Your main challenges as Head Legal will be to:
Advise on all local and international laws & regulatory matters affecting the Group and its operations;
Advise on all contractual relationships relevant to the Group, add strategic and commercial value on corporate acquisitions and joint ventures;
Maintain current knowledge of international best practice corporate governance for board and company;
Maintain current knowledge of internal and external laws, rules and regulations;
Manage Legal Department staff.
The key competencies for this role are:
10 – 15 years relevant corporate / commercial experience
Relevant Degrees in Law with exposure to UAE corporate, commercial, labor, and civil law.
Ideally should have handled position as in-house counsel within a family conglomerate, or comparable corporate entity within the GCC, with a solid background in real estate/property development
Arabic & English speaker
